Donate the gift of "Front Porch Memories"

We had dozens of applications come through for our Front Porch Project, and it quickly became clear that McDowell families are ready to take a step back in time and make some simple porch memories again.

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We have the funds to build two porches, but we have ONE MORE family that we could not get off our hearts. We want to give them the gift of a front porch, and we know this community can step in and make it happen. 

PLEASE consider a small donation- any amount helps! We want to give this family of five a gift that goes beyond dollars, beyond wood and nails. We want the family to have a safe space to be together outside. Read their application below:

"Our porch before the hurricane was a space where we could sit out and enjoy nice weather while my son played with his toys. Our porch had a rood and some things stored on it which was wiped away by the wind during the hurricane." - Third Family Application Quote

Your donation will help in creating front porches where families can congregate and create life long memories.

*If you would like to donate an amount outside of the shown donations, please mix and match the amounts by adding various amounts to your cart until your desired amount is reached.

This donation will help to:

• Purchase building materials for porches
• Labor costs associated with building
• All building permits 
• Purchase of smaller tools such as paint brushes, hardware, etc.
• Seating, lighting, etc. that will help make porches "memory-ready"
• Any other expenses directly related to the Front Porch Project, to include but not limited to documenting and marketing of the project.
